Terms of use

Downstage is in early, private beta. Features may change or break, and we don't guarantee uptime. If something important is time-sensitive (an upcoming show, a document deadline), keep a copy outside Downstage too — see our privacy policy for how your data is stored and backed up.

Downstage is for musicians and the people who manage their bands — booking dates, tracking call sheets, and handling the administrative paperwork ("cachet dossier") French intermittent-du-spectacle work requires. You need to be old enough to legally enter into a booking/employment relationship in your country to use it.

You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of what you enter — your profile, your cachet dossier, and any documents you upload. Only upload your own identity/administrative documents, or a band's own materials if you're managing it. You keep ownership of everything you upload; we just store and display it back to the people your role gives access to (see the privacy policy for exactly who that is).

While we're in this small beta, some limits are in place to keep things predictable: one band per manager account, up to 10 dates per band, and uploads capped at 10MB (PDF/JPG/PNG, plus MP3 for the music vault). These aren't meant to be permanent — they exist because we're validating the product with a handful of real bands before scaling up.

Use Downstage for what it's for — managing your own or your band's touring and administrative work. Don't use it to store or share someone else's personal documents without their consent, don't try to access another account or band's data you're not meant to see, and don't use the platform to harass or defraud anyone.

Downstage is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, during this beta period. We do our best to keep your data safe and the app working, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone (a manager who owns a band with other active members needs to remove them or transfer ownership first — see the privacy policy for why). We may also suspend an account that clearly violates these terms.

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and let active users know directly.
